Welcome to my blog! I am a New Yorker living in London, 28 years old and consider myself a person who is healthy, happy and always traveling.
My approach to living a healthy lifestyle is through balance and my blog shares my thoughts and experiences on this. Everything I do is in moderation and I don’t conform to labels as I find it quite limiting – you could call me a part time vegetarian, occasional drinker, and so on. I am also a certified Health Coach, graduating from the Integrative Institute of Nutrition.
I’ve never been much of a cook but that has changed. I have committed to cooking at least two new recipes each week and experimenting in the kitchen. Many of my posts are focused on my cooking experiences along with tips and tricks I’ve learned. You’ll notice quickly that I am obsessed with avocados, almond butter and sweet potatoes!
Travel is my passion. It seems crazy to me now that I didn’t have a passport until I was 20 years old, I’ve certainly made up for that since. Back in 2013 I made the decision to move to London from New York. This was an opportunity for a new experience and a chance to travel – with a higher holiday allowance and with Europe at my doorstep I was confident this was the best choice for me. It absolutely was, not only have I traveled to over 15 countries across 4 continents since then but I’ve also landed my dream job and happily in love. I’m a huge advocate of travel, my experiences have really opened my eyes to the effect it can have, being taken outside your comfort zone, meeting new people and being exposed to different cultures.
